"We love the Grand Marival; the property is always exceptionally clean. All staff from restaurants, activities and cleaning provide services are all exceptional. The Gold VIP staff always make sure we are very well looked after and help with anything a guest would like.
There are always events going on if you choose to partake... The food menus are awesome with different selections for everyone and has 5 different places to choose from. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean, with an added bonus of the frig being stocked daily with whatever your beverage choice is!!
We visit the Marival about every 6 months and have brought many friends and family with us to our Resort and all have the same comments.
Our daughter was married on the beach in February 2006 at the Marival and the photographer and guest services which handled our special event was also exceptional. Our daughter and son in law were given the honeymoon suite and that was luxurious.
We are so glad we purchased our Membership in 2005."

"This was our 9th trip to Vallarta and our second stay at Marival. If I remember correctly, the hotel had been fully remodeled from our first visit and the adult pool (one of 4, if you can imagine that) now has a private area where you can lay around in a hammock and watch the waves roll in. The location of the hotel is very convenient (walking distance) to the shopping mall and and all the restaraunts.
The service at the hotel was outstanding and the food and drinks at our members discount price just didn't seem fair. But I'm not going to complain.
Over all let me say this: we stayed at several resorts in Nuevo Vallarta and, for our families needs, Marival Gold offers us everything we're looking for in a beach front resort. The beach is the nicest and cleanest we've seen and with all the activities, you never get bored.

My husband and I have been married for six years. We went on our first vacation as a married couple to Nuevo Vallarta in Feb./2004 at the Marival resort (it was a late honeymoon for us.) The atmosphere and people at the hotel were wonderful and welcoming. The service of the staff during our stay was fantastic. As a result that year, we became gold members of the vacation club at marival.
My husband and I have traveled to various hotels and resorts in Puerto Vallarta and by far Marival is top notch. Since we visited there in 2004, we have stayed at Marival for two weeks,and for as long as five weeks and find the resort to be relaxing, enjoyable and full of entertainment. At Marival, the staff always makes you feel at home. We meet the same travelers year after year. The marival resort is our home away from home and we look forward to going there each year. The pools are inviting and the evening sun sets are breath-taking. The restaurants are moderm,clean, and the food is fabulous. There is lots of variety at the Marival resort. If you want to enjoy a nice family resort, Marival will make you feel at home.

We have spent a week at Marival each of the last three years, and we have enjoyed every trip. It seems like our second home, when we arrive, as everything is so familiar and we recall the fun we had during our previous trips.
The grounds and buildings are very well maintained. The food is good, we especially like the Italian & Mexican restaurants. Our kids are grown and no longer living with us, so we enjoy the quietness of the adult pool; although the "kiddie" pool area looks like a great place for families with younger kids.We also spend part of our day at the beach, and we have never had a problem finding a good spot to relax.
We always schedule a late dinner so that we can watch the beautiful sunsets, over Banderas Bay, while we sip our cocktails at the M & M bar. We look forward to our return trip, next year.

We had an awesome week at the Marival Suites in June 2006! The room was beyond our expectations! We had 2 adults & 3 kids (ages 9, 11 and 14) and stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean-front suite...extremely spacious; even for our kids... and they need lots of room to run and play! The room was cleaned daily & the refrigerator was stocked with bottled water, soda and beer... We were greeted by a very gracious hostess who gave us all the do's and don'ts of the hotel & island.
The hour long presentation was very informal (it was just our family and the hostess) & extremely informative. She also informed us of an optional 90 min. presentation that we could attend during the week, where we could hear about becoming Members; and we are so glad she did! We did take advantage of the presentation and are now proud Gold VIP Members of the Marival Grand! Making future reservations has never been so easy! The customer service staff, especially Berenice, Lucero & Silvia are extremely professional & explain everything perfect!
The beach was beautiful and pristine. The water sports were always available! We ate at many of the restaurants and found them to be excellent & offered many choices (believe me, with kids... this was important!). This was such a nice vacation, we are going to return again in June 2007! We just can't say enough nice things about the Marival Grand & Club Suites. We have traveled to just about every island in the Caribbean & Mexico... and we have never found any place as nice as the Marival. If they would give 10 stars for a resort... the Marival would get 11!
