Alfonso Rizzuto, proprietor of Marival Resort & Suites Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, is Canadian born in Montreal, Quebec with Italian roots.

The Rizzuto family was the first non-Mexican family to invest in the Nuevo Vallarta area commencing operations in 1984 in a condominium resort, followed by Jack Tar Village Resorts in 1987.

Mr. Rizzuto is an active member of the community serving as President of the Nuevo Vallarta Community Association, as well as serving on many boards including the Hotel and Motel Association of Bahía de Banderas among other business associations.
